Dear Reader,

Tuesday night we had a magically sweet time at the first Soul Soirée at the Northfield Depot. The acoustics in the space were amazing. But there was something really profound that's difficult to put into words.

It's like what one participant shared. He said that previously when he heard the word "Oneness", it used to sound cheesy to him. But in the circle, he said that he could feel that Oneness wasn't just a word -- it was a direct experience, and a really meaningful one.

Yes!!! This is exactly the kind of experience I had hoped to cultivate a space for. I want to share it as much as I can, especially now when it seems that our communities are feeling pulled apart at the seams.

My dream is that anyone, regardless of how they identify spiritually or politically, age or gender or ethnicity or whatever, can have this direct experience of all our humanity, and how powerfully we are connected with each other.

So maybe as we tackle the difficult challenges of these times, we can do it together, and in a way that leaves no one behind.

The next Soirée is October 1. If you're in the area, I hope you'll join us.
