Soul Soirées cancelled -- but still making music!

Dear Reader, on this Thanksgiving Eve, I am counting our connection as one of my blessings. Thank you for being in my life. I have always thought that this is a good season to go inward and be still, and yet I seem to always figure out how to make myself very, very busy. 🧐 Recently, I heard from several folks who typically come to Soul Soirées, and they’re not able to make it to the next couple of gatherings because of holiday activities. So, I am taking the hint that this may not be the time to push through and make something happen in that regard. In honor of these longest nights and shortest days, and in the spirit of putting my energy where it will do the most good, I am cancelling the final two Soul Soirées (November 30 and December 30). Meanwhile, my son Aidan and I will be offering three live performances for the residents at Three Links Assisted Living here in Northfield. We will be playing some traditional holiday music, and we’ll be taking requests as well. These performances are open to the public and, thanks to a grant from the Southeast Minnesota Council of the arts, free of charge. It would be great to see you there. You can find the dates and times on my events page on my website. In addition, I plan to put at least two Insight Timer live streams on the calendar, and will let you know when those dates are available.
