Equinox Greetings + event tonight in Northfield

Dear Friend, Happy Equinox! I wanted to send a quick reminder about a couple of in-person and online events coming up very soon. 7:00pm Tonight (9/22): Aidan and I open for Prairie Home Companion favorites Prudence Johnson and Dan Chouinard at the Northfield Arts Guild Theater. Get tickets. 9:30am This Coming Thursday (9/26): I'll be going live on Insight Timer. Join here. 7:30pm Next Tuesday (10/1): Aidan joins me to co-host the second Soul Soiree at the Northfield Depot. Register here. Meanwhile, I don't know about you, but for me, the autumn equinox has a very special place in my heart. To me it represents the end and the beginning of a new cycle -- when the seed is ripe and drops to the earth, initiating another round of living. To celebrate today, I made this YouTube video that includes some early autumn scenery that I took on a walk this past week (we were lucky enough to get to the waterfall at just the precise moment when the sun was making rainbows!! magical moment🥰🌈). It features a hauntingly beautiful song I first heard years ago around a campfire in Northern New Mexico, and that I felt moved to record several times -- this is the newest iteration.
