hello friend, just a quick update and reminder about what's on the calendar. MusicIT Live: I'll be going live on Insight Timer at 7pm CT Wednesday. Click here for more info, to get your time zone and put it on your calendar. Community Song Circle: This is a monthly gathering on third Saturdays from 5-7 at Hot Spot Music, 801 Division Street in Northfield. We join our voices together to nourish our connections with ourselves, each other and the Earth at a time when none of these is to be taken for granted. All voices welcome, no singing experience needed. Let me know if you would like to try your hand at leading a song! Snacks provided. Donations welcomed but not required. Basket/Creativity eventsBring whatever you're working on and let's work side by side on our crafts. This month I'm working hard on making tiny baskets because I'll be selling them at the River Walk Farmer's Market in October. For the week beginning September 6 2026, there are two scheduled co-working meetups: When: 4-6 PM Thursday 1:30-3 Friday (coincides with Crafternoon). Where: on the patio behind Little Joy Coffee, and on Google Meet. If it rains or gets too windy(which dries out materials too fast and makes weaving not as fun) we'll make a decision in the moment whether to go indoors based on whether there's space, or reschedule. hi friends, wow it got chilly all of a sudden!! feels like cozy basket weaving weather. I'll be weaving baskets starting at 1:30pm on Friday.
